  • Irish Summer Chef’s Table

     

    On June 20, the Looking Glass Restaurant will host a special Chef’s Table dinner. The Irish Summer-inspired dinner features local brews from Atlantic Brewing paired with Executive Chef Arturo Montes’ delectable menu. Each dish also includes wine recommendations. The menu includes pan fried salmon filet with sorrel apple scallion relish paired with Bar Harbor Real Ale, and beef tenderloin steak on a bed of spinach with red wine sauce and Bar Harbor Cole Porter. Guests are encouraged to leave room for the bread and butter pudding with whiskey sauce dessert. Call 207-288-5663 for reservations, space is limited. $75.00 per person plus tax and gratuity.

  • Bill Trowell Returns To The Great Room Lounge At The Bluenose Inn

    From Gershwin to Mozart to Scott Joplin and everything in between including show tunes, and medleys featuring the sounds of the Beatles and Billy Joel, Mr. Trowell, noted performer and recording artist is sure to please. Sit by the fire or at the luxurious bar, enjoy your favorite libation and relax and be entertained by one of the finest musicians in the country. Mr. Trowell, who has been playing since he was two years of age, recently played for a military officers’ retirement community in the Washington, D.C. area for over 250 people where he was so well received many in attendance now want to come to Maine just to hear him play again.Bill Trowell

    Mr. Trowell is playing at The Bluenose Inn Great Room Lounge the evenings of Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17th. Starting Friday, May 23rd he’ll play 7 nights a week until late October.

    We look forward to seeing you. The Great Room opens at 6 p.m.and Bill Trowell starts playing at 7 p.m.
